What are the shipping costs for the Slinger Bag Slam Pack?

Slinger Hawaii provides FREE Shipping to customers on Oahu, Hawaii! Slinger Hawaii provides a very discounted shipping cost to Maui, Kauai and Island of Hawaii (aka Big Island) at $99 plus tax and $150 plus tax for Guam customers (for SlingerBag Tennis and Pickleball). Note: Slinger Hawaii only sells the Slinger Bag Slam Pack to the Hawaii and Guam market. More details on Shipping.

Is the Slinger Bag Slam Pack available outside of Hawaii

Yes, but Slinger Hawaii only sells to Hawaii and Guam and does not ship outside the state of Hawaii or Guam.

Does the Slinger Bag Slam Pack come with a remote?

Yes. The Slinger Bag slam pack is powered by remote control for your safety and convenience.
Both Launcher and the Oscillator can only operate via remote control.

Does the Slinger Bag oscillate/rotate?

The main Slinger Bag itself does not oscillate. However, we have created an Oscillator plate on which the Slinger Bag can sit and which allows the Slinger Bag to oscillate. The Oscillator is included in the Slinger Bag Slam Pack, which is the only version sold by Slinger Hawaii.

What type of launch sequences can be used with Slinger Bag?

Each Slinger Bag allows the user to modify ball speed, ball frequency and ball elevation independently. Ball Speed and Ball Frequency are controlled by the speed and frequency knobs on the front panel of the Slinger Bag. Elevation is controlled by the elevation knob on the right hand side of the bag as you look at it. What type of tennis balls can I use?

The recommendation from Slinger Bag team is to use yellow pressureless balls as they will last longer. Any championshipball, (Penn, Wilson, Dunlop etc.) will work fine. Other yellow balls as well as Green or Orange balls are ok, but performance will be reduced (speed and spin). Any other balls should NOT be used as they could get caught in the carousel and voids the warranty.

Does my Slinger Bag come with a warranty?

All Slinger Bags have a 12 month statutory Limited Warranty. In Hawaii and when sold at SlingerHawaii.com this cannot be extended . More details see https://www.slingerhawaii.com/pages/warranty

Does the Slinger Bag need to be plugged in while using it?

No. Slinger cannot be connected to power when being used. The battery is charged when not in use.

How long does it take to charge a Slinger Bag?

The Slinger Bag is powered by a premium quality Lithium Ion Battery. The ideal charging time for an empty battery is five (5) hours. DO NOT charge it beyond 5 hours as that might jeopardize the warranty.

We suggest unplugging the charger from the power outlet once charging is complete. For further information, please read our User Manual , User Manual for Pickleball and Battery Manual.

How do I manage the top spin?

The amount of top spin generated can be managed by altering the ball speed and elevation angle settings to find a launch sequence that works best for you.

Slinger is also easily moved on the court and we suggest testing varying court placements to find the best mix of placement, speed, angle and ball frequency for your level of play.

Can I use my Slinger Bag without a remote?

No. For safety reasons, the Slinger Bag will only begin launching when the icon with the tennis ball "ON" button is pressed. (First switch the launcher "ON" and then press "ON" on the remote control to activate either the Launcher or the Launcher and the Oscillator when you are in hitting position). If you have lost your remote control, you can purchase a replacement here.

My Oscillator is not working. What should I do?

Please follow the below troubleshooting steps:

1. Ensure that you have removed the plastic cover from the magnetic connector at the end of the cable.

2. Ensure that the magnetic connector on both the end of the Oscillator cable and on the Launcher control panel are free from dirt / dust.

3. Press "ON" for both the Launcher and Oscillator button on the remote control.

4. The Oscillator will take 15 seconds to get powered up correctly before oscillation starts.

5. The oscillator has its own motor and will oscillate with only pressing the oscillator button (bottom button on the remote).

If, for any reason, these steps do not work please follow the below instructions:

What are the dimensions of a Slinger Bag?

The bag itself is 34"/86cm tall X 18"/46cm wide (front to back) X 14"/35.5cm long (back side to back side).

A Slinger Bag weighs 33lbs/15kg on its own and 45lbs/20kg loaded with tennis balls. The Slinger Bag for Pickleball weighs 3 pounds more.

How long does a Slinger Bag hold a charge for?

Battery Life depends on usage. If used on low settings including Oscillation, then the battery life is up to 3.5 hours, and this reduces to 1.5 hours when used at maximum speed, feed and oscillation (and including cell phone charging). How fast does the Slinger Bag launch balls?

Variable ball speed between 10 mph / 16 kmh and 45 mph / 73kmh. For the Pickleball launcher the speed is different.

Note: the higher the speed, the greater the top spin effect.

Can I transfer my warranty?

The warranty for the Slinger Bag is non-transferrable and must remain with the original owner to be valid. If the Slinger is given as a gift, the recipient may register the serial number for the extended warranty. Please note the warranty is only valid IF you purchased your unit at SlingerHawaii.com and in state of Hawaii or Guam.

My Slinger will not power 'ON' / My battery is not charging. What should I do?

1. Please remove the battery from the Slinger to assess the battery connection cable.NOTE: The Slinger Bag must be unplugged from the charger before removing the battery for safety reasons.2. Check the adaptor on the plug to the charger to see that it is securely attached. It will "click" in place when properly inserted. For clear instruction on this step please access our Battery Manual here.

3. Next, be sure that the charger connection that is inserted into the front panel of the Slinger is fully inserted. When charging, the charger will display a RED light. When charging is complete, the light on the charger will turn green.

4. If you are having trouble charging the battery, make sure that the power cable has not become disconnected from the battery.

What lights indicate a full charge on my Slinger Bag?

The power adapter light will turn green when the charge is complete. Please visit page 16 of our User Manual or the User Manual for Pickleball for detailed information.

How many balls should I put in the Slinger Bag hopper?

Tennis: While up to 144 balls will fit into the ball hopper, we suggest that only 72 balls be placed in while launching for optimal performance. Inside the ball hopper, the mesh walls are held in place by velcro. The velcro should be occasionally checked to ensure that it is held as tightly as is possible to prevent any tennis balls becoming trapped.

My item arrived broken or damaged. What can I do?

For Hawaii and Guam customer that purchased your SLinger Bag Slam Pack in Hawaii via SlingerHawaii.com please contact support@slingerhawaii.com outlining the damage. If possible, please include pictures or videos.

When will I receive a tracking information for my order?

SlingerHawaii.com only ships to customers in the state of Hawaii and Guam. If you reside on Oahu there is no shipping cost and no shipping nubmer will be provided.

If residing on island of Kauai, Maui, Island of Hawaii (aka Big Island), or Guam you will recieve an email with that informaiton at time of purchase.

How can I change the address on my order?

We cannot guarantee an address change after your order is placed, but please email our team at support@slingerhawaii.com.

How can I perform a HARD RESET of my Slinger Bag?

Here is the sequence for the HARD RESET:

1. Press the reset buttonon the control panel (receiver) 8 clicks 2. The receiver should flash 7 times(small RED flashes from a red led on the receiver – it glows in RED from the reset hole in the panel)
3. Press the remote (any button) until you see the RED LED on the receiver turn on
